Seges is a knowledgecenter and a part of DLBR, which is owned by the danish farmers. Seges is located in Aarhus N, Agro Food Park, where they’re housing 600 employees.
Based on projects Seges creates products, which are making life easier for the farmers. For several years there has been more focus on the digital solutions for farmers. All solutions are reseach based and take the farmers circumstances into account as well as technological developments.

the interviews we had showed us that farm owners have it hard to keep track of all their machines and also to check up with their employees based on the machine reparations and other details. moreover, the focus group got us one of our main insights which is the fact that there is a big gap between old generation farmers and the new generation.
the concept for seges was called "datamash" as it is a set of features that focus on machine data. some of the feature are fuel and oil consumption, spare parts selling or an easy way to contact mechanics ,compare with other machine feature and a daily checkup list of the machine.all of it is digitally, which aims to optimize the time the farmer spends on always checking the machines, but it also helps to keep track of different items.

fARMERS WILL FINALLY HAVE ACCESS TO THE DATA THEY USUALLY SPEND TIME CHECKING MANUALLY, SOME EVEN DO IT BY NOTEBOOKS OR BOARDS. HENCE, THEIR TIME AND RESOURCES WILL BE MINIMIZED, WHICH WILL GENERATE THEM MORE SECURITY, BUT ALSO IN THE LONG RUN, MORE REVENUE.
SEGES IS ALREADY KNOWN FOR ALWAYS PROVIDING THE BEST TOOLS TO THE FARMERS,HENCE THEY WILL HAVE A NEW DIGITAL APPLICATION THAT IS GOING TO WORK WITH OTHER TOOLS AND PRODUCTS THAT THEY ARE OFFERING TO THE MARKET. THE APP WOULD BE A BIG COMPETITOR TO THE John Deere APPLICATIONS THAT USUALLY WORK WITH THEIR OWN MACHINES ONLY.
