Creuna is a customer experience agency. We have made it our mission to help you wow your customers with smooth and memorable online experiences.
Now that we've gotten acquainted, you may be wondering about our name. How on earth is it pronounced and why did we choose it? It's [²crụ:na] and there's actually a pretty good explanation. Creuna is short for Creating Unique Net Advantages. Admittedly, net advantages sounds a bit late 90's, but there's a reason for that. We have been around for more than 15 years. Today, we talk a lot less about internet advantages and a lot more about great customer experiences across channels and platforms.
You'll find Creuna in four countries across the great North: Denmark, Norway, Sweden & Finland. Together we make up an army of more than 350 digital professionals.
this time they were working for arla and together they hired us to solve a concept.

first and secondary data lead us to knowing that most of the people do not own a smart fridge yet, so they have to check their ingredients all the time, manually. moreover, they always spend too much time searching for recipes, but also buying ingredients. therefore, our concepts focuses on optimizing all those pain points and creating a better user experience.
"mealy" is our suggestion for developing and optimizing the current click and cook concept. "mealy" is a digital application that adapts to your needs and personalizes recipes based on your interests.
the experience starts by choosing a different set of preferences, which you can customize as you want.
there is a different set of users, such as two, one, more and healthy/fit oriented choice.
after this, the application offers you a feed with different recipes, but also a stories feature, that you can use for inspiration when you do not know what to cook or you just crave something.
these stories work as inspirational elements, but they also are focusing on feature such as user persuasion.
click and cook is mainly a food delivery app, that brings you the ingredients at your doorstep and saves you the time you use to bother with shopping. its fast and adaptable.
however, it sometimes happens that you have leftover ingredients in the fridge, thats where the "empty fridge" features comes in handy. you choose the ingredients you have in the fridge and we come up with a recipe for you.
all in all, "mealy" aims to reduce the time spent on searching for recipes, but also the time spent shopping, all through one system. the design architecture servers as making the app more accessible for all the users.

with "mealy" users can spend less time worrying about what to cook and when to make time for buying the ingredients. everything is a few taps away, so then the can spend more times with their loved ones.
the company will benefit by an increase in numbers of users, both new and old. moreover, arla is already planning to get deals with other supermarkets, that will get into food delivery. Therefore, the users will have even more options and faster delivery times, which will generate even more value through the digital application.
